Waxing doesn't have to be a painful or scary service. The environment, quality of products used, and technique can make a tremendous difference. Let me help you through this process with minimal discomfort. You may be surprised when your anxiety is less, the pain is not as intense. I offer face for ladies and gentlemen, ladies' full body, and gentlemen's upper body waxing services.

Prep
- Avoid: Do not apply lotions, self-tanners, body sprays, deodorants, or other topical creams before your appointment. you will also need to avoid the heat, this includes tanning beds, hot tubs, and saunas for a minimum of 24 hrs before your appointment.
Grow it out: If you have been shaving, allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks or 1/4 inch of hair growth. - Be comfy: Wear loose comfortable clothing to prevent irritation after waxing.
- Exfoliate: Exfoliate the area gently 24 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and allow for a cleaner wax.
- Hygiene: Please freshen up for your brazilian, bikini, or body wax.
- Schedule ahead: Book your appointments at least 2 days before the big event, wedding, vacation, etc.
Post
- First time clients: Everyone reacts differently to waxing. If this is your first time, it is important to take precautions. Heightened sensitivity may be experienced in the area waxed for the next 24-48 hours.
- Avoid: No tanning, sunbathing, hot tubs, or saunas for 48 hours after your treatment. This is because a layer of dead skin cells has been removed and sun or heat exposure can burn the skin. Do not take hot baths or exercise for 2 hours following your treatment.
- Sensitivity: Apply a cold compress to soothe the skin if you experience sensitivity or irritation after your treatment. Hydro-cortisone gel or lotion (not cream) also reduces the redness and irritation following your treatment.
Maintain
- Exfoliate daily: Starting 48 hours after your treatment.

Waxing FAQ

- Do not tan 24-48 hours BEFORE OR AFTER waxing.
- You should not wax any area if you have used ACCUTANE® in the last 12 months, 2 weeks after antibiotics or on any area in which you have applied Retin-A within 2 months.
- Do not wax if you have lesions or sores.
- Exfoliate the waxed area to prevent ingrown hairs.
- With any waxing avoid hot tubs, soaking, or swimming for 24 hours.
- When waxing your hair must be at least 1/4"-1/2" long (depending on hair type). If you are having your legs waxed you need to allow your hair to grow for 6 weeks before the first wax. Thereafter, every 4 weeks.
