Appointments that you make are held specifically for you. When you cancel these appointments without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that time, and others on my waitlist miss the opportunity to receive services.
These policies are in place to benefit us all.
Policy
Appointments
I ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your session to allow time for a restroom break or any paperwork you may need to fill out. This also allows you time to take a deep breath and not feel rushed for your session.
Cancellations
I know we all have hectic lives and busy schedules. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment a 72-48hr advanced notice is very much appreciated, but a 24-hour notice is required. There will be a charge up to the full-service cost without sufficient notice.
All appointments canceled the day of will incur a full charge of the service cost. If you have a gift certificate for that appointment, it becomes forfeit and is invalid.
Late Arrivals
Life happens and you may be running behind. Please give a courtesy call or text immediately. I schedule the necessary time needed for each service and accommodating late arrivals may not be possible without disrupting other client's schedules that day. Give a courtesy call as soon as you know.
Late arrivals are not guaranteed extensions, and will most likely receive the remainder of their scheduled session. The full session price will be due. I recommend arriving 5-10 minutes ahead of your appointment to allow for traffic, parking, or even a restroom break.
No-Shows
If you do not give the required notice of 24hrs, and you do not show up for your appointment, you are considered a no-show. Before you can rebook an appointment, the full service fee of your missed appointment must be paid. If you were using a gift certificate or part of a multi-session package for the missed appointment, that portion will become forfeit.
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates from Blissful Skincare & Massage Therapy are valid for 1 year and 1 month from the purchase date. I am only 1 person and my schedule is usually booked an average of 4-6 weeks out. Please think ahead to schedule your services. A lack of planning is not my responsibility. I will try my best to accommodate but there is no guarantee that appointments will be available.
If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice or are a no-show for an appointment booked with a gift certificate, your gift certificate or that service portion, is forfeit and no longer valid.
Packages
Multi-Session Packages from Blissful Skincare & Massage Therapy are valid for 6 months from the date of the 1st session used. You have 6 months to use 5 sessions. I am only 1 person and my schedule is usually booked an average of 4-6 weeks out. Please think ahead to schedule your services. A lack of planning is not my responsibility. I will try my best to accommodate but there is no guarantee that appointments will be available.
If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice or are a no-show for an appointment booked with a multi session package, that session of your package is forfeit and no longer valid.
Service Pricing and Increases
I always try to have advanced notice for price increases. My normal schedule for raising service rates is biennial on the even years, usually in the month of April. Prices are subject to change without notice if they are seen on facebook, google, yelp, instagram, or this website.
I reserve the right to terminate any session or service for INAPPROPRIATE or disrespectful Behavior.
Be respectful. Any misconduct or harassment by a client will immediately terminate the session, and full payment will be due. I also reserve the right to prevent anyone from booking or rescheduling an appointment.
Cellphones
As a courtesy to our other guests, your practitioner, and even to yourself, we respectfully ask that you refrain from the use of cellular phones while in the spa.
Children
To ensure the safety of your children, and the comfort and relaxation of our guests, we respectfully ask that you refrain from leaving children unattended in the spa during your service.
Payment Options
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, Venmo, FSA and HSA cards, personal checks (with proper i.d.), and cash are all accepted..
Gratuities
Gratuities are neither required nor expected, but they are always sincerely appreciated. Standard is 15-20% but the amount of gratuity is at your discretion.
