Jessner Peel

A combination of 14% resorcinol, 14% lactic acid, and 14% salicylic acid result in deeper penetration and greater exfoliation of the outer layers of skin cells. This deeper exfoliation produces noticeable flaking and exfoliation in the following 3-5 days after the peel, and within 7-10 days a smoother, healthier layer of skin will be revealed. The Jessner Peel is a superior treatment designed to remove superficial layers of skin.
Jessner Peel Continued
It is one of the most effective light cosmetic peels available and is used to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation and treat aging sun-damged skin.Recommended for most skin types, it smoothes and rejuvenates skin, producing beautiful results in treating mild to severe acne and congestion, discoloration, moderate wrinkling, and sun damage. Peeling the face, neck, hands, and upper chest is also quite effective.
Jessner Peel Continued
The Jessner peel is also very beneficial for patients with acne, oily, or thicker skin, because it tends to decrease oil production and open clogged sebaceous follicles. It also contributes to the healing process of acne. (Includes a REQUIRED hydrating mini-facial 7-10 days post peel.)

Chemical peels penetrate the pores and purge oil and dead skin cells that clog the follicle and dull the skin. They also exfoliate the skin much quicker, allowing nourishing products to penetrate further and more effectively. Although usually applied to the face and neck, any of these peels can be applied to the décolletage, hands, arms, and back.
For all except the Jessner Peel, a series of 6 treatments, in 2-3 week intervals, is recommended (but not required) to achieve a dramatic skin-refining result. Then a maintenance program, of 30-90 day intervals (depending on skin type and issues), should follow to achieve a lasting benefit.
Peel Guidelines:
- A skin consultation is required before any peels can be performed.
- Peels may require a patch test.
- Some peels may require prep and post care kits that must be used.
- Be advised not all peels can be performed the day of the consultation.
- Different variations of peels can be performed.
- You must stay out of the sun, wear an approved SPF (preferably minerals) and avoid the tanning bed while you are on a chemical peel regimen.
- To get the best results, a series of 6 peel treatments are recommended, spaced 2-3 weeks apart.
